Springfields Outlet / Queensgate Centre

If you aren’t bothered about whether you’re buying past or current season pieces, outlet shopping can be a really good way of grabbing a few bargains and filling up empty wardrobe space cheaply. Springfields is an outlet in England and as we were in the area anyway, we decided to have a quick look at some of the brands available.

The first piece I bought was a hand embroidered £80 NEXT dress… for just £10. With a price tag like that it’s hard to resist something as gorgeous as this dress. The main body is in a sheer black lace but it has a removable black slip underneath so I won’t be showing anyone my underwear when I wear it! I fell in love with the bright orange colour and the detail in the floral design. The photos here don’t really show how beautiful this dress is, but I think I’ll be wearing this to my Grandad’s 80th birthday party next week so I’ll post some proper pictures of it then.

I also went to the Beauty Outlet – of course – and although I was extremely tempted by the half price brush sets and the new W7 “Very Vegan” range, sadly I had to rein in my spending so I only bought these face masks. They were all half price at 99p each so I spent about £5 on 5 different versions from 7th Heaven.

I’ve been looking for a pair of high waisted jeans for quite a while now but it’s been difficult to find some that actually fit me properly due to my UK size 8/10 waist and size 12 hips. I’m not usually a fan of Marks and Spencer for clothes, but when I found these perfect blue jeans with silver hardware I just had to buy them! The original price was £35 but I managed to get them for £13.99 at the M&S outlet. Freddie clearly likes them too…

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been really conscious of my teeth. Unluckily for me, I was born with varying amounts of enamel on my teeth so I have to work extra hard to keep them all looking white and sparkly. I also had to endure braces for three years – and I still wear a retainer – so trying to look after them is one of my top priorities.

I’ve been wanting to try the Lush Toothy Tabs because they’re natural and they seem to have good reviews online. I’ve only ever bought one thing from Lush and that was last year when I picked up the “Popcorn” lip scrub. Because the lip scrub is so fantastic I finally decided to give in and buy the “Dirty” mint and herb tabs for £4.95 and a small Charity hand cream for £1. I hope I’ll love these as much as the scrub!

I also bought a few small bits and pieces while I was scouting through the shops…

Hat – £18 River Island, Corset Belt – £5 (£18 originally) Topshop, Rings – £0.80 each (£10 each originally!) Warehouse, Jumper – £7 (£20 originally) Topshop
